Put your filled Moose pitcher on the device and let go of the handle. Perfect Moose automatically starts steaming once the filled pitcher is put on. Holding the pitcher could influence the weight measurement and is strongly advised against. Holding the handle can result in poor quality microfoam. 

Also make sure the handle of the pitcher is always pointed towards you so that it does not block the Moose eye. The Moose eye measures the temperature, also a vital parameter for steaming top microfoam.
